My Story
Garth has grown into his role as Director of Operations by making a point of learning from all of the agents and brokers he has provided administrative and marketing support to throughout the nearly 20 years he has been part of the Anton, Sowerby & Associates team.
He found that taking the strongest qualities and skills from each helped foster his own success and to develop the strong skills necessary to lead the company through the fluid industry of commercial real estate. Garth’s 20-year history in retail management and customer service, along with natural ability to “think on his feet”, strong organizational skills and attention to detail make him the ideal “captain of our ship”. Garth also just earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration in his “spare time”.
Garth plays a hands‑on role in driving commercial real estate sales, working closely with the teams to make sure every listing hits the market with strong strategy, sharp marketing, and the kind of follow‑through that keeps deals moving. He understands what buyers and tenants are looking for, knows how to position properties to stand out, and isn’t afraid to jump in and solve problems fast to keep transactions on track.

One of Garth’s greatest assets is his ability to think fast on his feet, when necessary, which compliments his natural ability to anticipate potential issues and avoid problems. He is very organized, efficient and works with an honest, “no nonsense” approach. Garth also places great value on his journey to his current role as well as the countless relationships that have been built and nurtured over the years.
When Garth is not laser focused on his professional responsibilities, he practices “work/home balance” by spending time with his wife, daughter and two sons (all teens), quite often camping in their travel trailer. He also enjoys creative hobbies such as woodworking, painting and crafting.
